World's Strongest Man 2008We took a trip to Charleston, WV in September to catch the first couple days of qualifying heats for the 2008 World's Strongest Man contest.
KnifeyIn the early summer of 2008, I redesigned my 75 gallon tank to house a black ghost knifefish.
New HamsterIn March 2008 I adopted a hamster that had been given up at a local 4-H office. Her name is Eloise and she is sweet, but she's also totally crazy!

The Crayfish is awesomeI caught a crayfish in a stream and have been keeping it in a 10 gallon tank with some minnows and snails that I caught in a pond. It rules and does awesome things.
Brood X CicadasMy parents' house was quite overrun with cicadas during the summer of 2004. I managed to get a lot of cool pictures of all the stages of the insects that I could find.
Hissing Cockroaches.For a few years, I kept Madagascan hissing roaches as pets. They were awesome, they had lots of babies, and now they're gone. I kind of miss them.
Freshwater Jellyfish!In August 2004, I was lucky enough to see a "bloom" of adult Craspedacusta sowerbyi, or freshwater jellyfish. They were in a dirty little pond at the end of my street and are seriously awesome. I took a ton of pictures, and a few came out all right.
My FishI have three fish tanks, and I take a lot of pictures of them and their contents.
