Our first dinner out was at a Thai place on Museum Street in London. My noodles were good, but Maggie's curry was better.

The Rocket pub had some excellent vegetarian options, such as my fantastic cranberry sausage and mash, and maggie's veggie 'Scream' burger.

We found a number of delicious pies for dessert in pubs. Here are the Rocket's apple crumble thing, and a nice Banofee pie from the Old Star pub near Buckingham Palace.
The First Out Cafe in London was one of the few places at which we ate more than once. Maggie was in love with their Sunday brunch.

Edinburgh's Whiski pub had more surprising veggie options for us. We had a goat cheese and apricot jam appetizer, I got vegetarian haggis (I know, right?) and Maggie got her own sausage and mash here.

After Iceland's volcano stranded us in Edinburgh, we began food shopping to save money during our extended stay. The local Tesco supermarket had some fun options.

I'd never heard of scotch Eggs before this trip. If you haven't either, they're hardboiled eggs wrapped in sausage, then breaded and fried. Sounds awesome, right? Well, Quorn (one of our favorite veggie food companies) distributes a vegetarian version in the UK! We ate SO MANY of these on this trip.
